This unique girder is the fourth crossing of Sand Creek in Jordan.
Built in 1907, the bridge features a single through plate girder. Unique to a trio of bridges in the vicinity, these girders have been encased in concrete. It is set onto stone piers.
Overall, the bridge appears to remain in fair condition. It is unknown when or why the concrete was added to the girders.
The author has ranked the bridge as being moderately significant, due to the unique design.
